Dumbo: Mrs. Jumbo's lullaby Baby Mine
Have you watched Dumbo recently? Daniel is fixated on it right now. Though he's nearly 16, because he has Down syndrome and autistic, his mind works differently than ours. And the friendliness of Down syndrome - with Daniel - is trumped by the non-relationality of autism.
So you can imagine how much it meant to me the other day when I was working at my computer and he was watching Dumbo for the gazillionth time and this lullaby was playing and he said, "Mom. Hey, mom. That's you."
A mommy can get a lot of encouragement mileage from something like that :)

_So_ sweet. I miss those days when my kids would watch such wonderful movies like this over and over. Makes me sorta sappy!
