Sophia and Josh - Before the Wedding
I am slowly catching up. A lot of you have wanted to see photos and hear about the goings-on in the week before the wedding. I've put together a photojournal with captions which fill in the gaps between pictures. Keep in mind that I was cooking a lot of meals for a lot of people, so I had to put my camera down.
But between the pictures and the captions, you'll get a glimpse of what it's like the week before the wedding as we follow the bride:

It was very fun to see everyone and all the fun you had before the wedding! Sophia was a beautiful bride, and I can't wait to see more wedding pictures...Now... here's the burning question that kept going through my mind: How do you cook for all those people? Seriously... Is it a skill you learned over the years? Do you have any tips? I came from a family with 2 children, and my mother is a little perplexed when she is here at mealtimes, because we make so much food! Sometimes, though... It's a guess not knowing how much my gang will eat. I would love it if you could run a post sometime with all your tricks: time saving, money saving, big pots, etc...Also, is your kitchen average in size? I am wondering how to fit my pots and all the food in an average size kitchen. :) Anyway, I know this was a bit off topic... Thanks so much for sharing all your pictures! It was a treat to see them.

Wonderful coverage of all the "pre-game" stuff ;) I think all those ladies having fun together in the spa was a great idea!
Sophia was so lovely...and I LOVE the colour she chose for the bridesmaid's dresses.
PS... I second Lisa on requesting a future "Big Pot Cooking" post!

YEA! You posted pre-wedding stuff. I have been patiently waiting(awwww, who am I kidding; I've looked every chance I had to see if you posted :-) )
I like the commentary where you talk about feeding and doing little extras for everyone. For example, taking the breakfast tray up to the girls, and the spa time together.
You are still teaching all of us--this time how to be the mother of a bride (some day).
I look forward to seeing more--hint, hint.
