6/19 8pm: Two Weeks for Freedom kickoff online
Two Weeks for Freedom: Christians Standing Together for Religious Freedom
On Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 8 PM ET, Christians from across
denominational lines will come together for a special newscast program
that will mark the beginning of a two week period of nationwide prayer
and action in support of religious liberty. This First Freedom is
threatened by the Department of Health and Human Services which has
approved -- for the first time in American history -- new federal
regulations that would force health-care plans to cover abortion drugs,
contraceptives and sterilizations. Rallies being held across the country
and the numerous lawsuits filed against the mandate have sent a message
that Christians will not give up this constitutionally guaranteed
right.
Join us on June 19th for this special program, "Two Weeks for Freedom: Christians Standing Together for Religious Freedom."
Confirmed Speakers Include:
- Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio)
- Congressman Jeff Fortenberry (R-Nebr.)
