Matt and Emma engaged!
Matt and Emma are engaged! Matt returned yesterday from England, where he asked Mr. Ingham for Emma's hand and then proposed to the beautiful woman our family refers to affectionately as Mat's English Muffin.
Now begins a long, bureaucratic journey as they apply for her to get a green card to live in the US, where she will then be able to apply for citizenship.
We are truly blessed that our second son found such a wonderful person to spend the rest of his life building a family with. And that they both recognized a good thing when it came their way and wanted a permanent commitment.
Emma will be our third daughter-in-law - another Mrs. Curtis! - and has already won our hearts during her visits here.
Congratulations, Matt and Emma! We love you both and we love you both together!

Congratulations!!1
on a side note, if she has a tourist visa, she can come here and then get married. And then apply for the green card. So much easier, than staying in England waiting for a fiancee visa. :)
blessings,
