Love You More - adoption journey
[Donna and Jessica are the winners of this giveaway. Thanks to all who entered! And thanks to Jennifer Grant for sponsoring it! You can find Love You More: The Divine Surprise of Adopting My Daughter at Amazon or at Jennifer Grant.]
In Love You More: The Divine Surprise of Adopting My Daughter Jennifer Grant shares the obstacles, surprises, and moments of Grace she experienced working through the adoption process to bring home Mia - her daughter from Guatemala.
Jennifer is not just a mother of four (including Mia), but also a columnist for the Chicago Tribune and Christianity Today as well as a first-rate blogger - so she doesn't just have a story to tell, but know how to tell it. She shares even the most deeply personal insights in a way that invites us to examine our own hearts.
This is a book written out of love - love for her daughter, love for her family, love for God and clearly love for those who are considering adoption. Love You More includes discussion questions, tips for prospective adoptive parents, and suggestions for readers on how to reach out in love and support for the world's most vulnerable people, including orphans.
I'm sending my copy on to my daughter Samantha, who was mother of five when she felt the call to adopt and has blessed our family with another daughter/granddaughter/sister/niece/cousin: Lily, who also hails from Guatemala.
Jennifer is offering two autographed copies of Love You More to MommyLife readers who leave comments here for a drawing 9/9

Not only are we praying over adoption, but we know two other families who are as well. I'm going to put this on my Amazon list just in case we don't get it via the giveaway. Thanks for highlighting! It is an especially heartening recommendation coming from someone with your wealth of experience.

I really enjoy reading about real life stories and those about families are my favorites.

You don't have to enter me in your drawing as I already own a copy, but just had to pipe in and say this is a beautifully-written book that will inspire you even if you are not planning to adopt. I could relate to so much of Jennifer's story as she shared the struggles and joys of building a family (even before she felt called to adopt). This is a true and beautiful story.

We've been talking about and praying about adopting - probably domestically, through the foster care system. Would love to read this book!
