Sticky Mosaics - no-mess crafts[This was a hard contest to announce the winners for, because I wish we could all be winners! These are so much fun - and no mess - and so many of you wanted them.
Thanks to Sticky Mosaics for sponsoring this giveaway. The winners are Chrissy, Donna and Francine. You can find Sticky Mosaicsat Amazon or at their website.]
This is my youngest, Justin (one of our adopted sons with Down syndrome) hard at work on the Sleeping Beauty storybook sent to me by the Orb Factory, who have an interesting craft concept:
We make educational, mess-free crafts that are perfect for grandparents and their grandchildren to complete together.
Our crafts are simple to use and most follow a numbered legend, much like the classic paint-by-number kits. They produce not only perfect results, but also a special memento of time shared together.
This is a great idea for getting grandparents engaged with their grandchildren - - - But it's also a craft that will elicit maximum concentration and requires minimum supervision once you show your child how to do it.
Good for development of pincer grasp, concentration and independence.
This is one product I will be buying more of myself - just to have when someone needs to focus. Not being very crafty myself, I am grateful someone has thought of something that requires so little of me. Just keeping it real :) I know I'm going to order Robots next.
There are jewelry boxes, Gladiator outfits, Veggie Tales - lots of items in addition to the storybooks. Please go to Orb Products and browse to see what I'm talking about.
Then submit a comment for a chance to win your choice. Orb Products has promised three winners, who will be announced 6/7 - which kit will you pick?
AWESOME! I'd take any of them.

Oooo, I'd never seen these. I'm with you - definitely going to order some of these over time. They would be great for the recuperation phase of illnesses when the young'uns get antsy. I like "3D Ocean Magic" for it's appeal to both boys and girls, as my youngest two are one of each.

I really enjoyed browsing their website. My daughter would love ANY of the tiaras, mermaids, fairies, jewelry boxes, etc. (I think I'd enjoy making them, too). And my oldest is a little too old for the create-your-own Samurai armor, but I'm keeping that in mind for a nephew's Christmas gift. :)

I am so glad you shared this because they look ideal for me - I am not crafty at all, and kind of hate dealing with the mess and hassle (insert mom guilt here). This would be easy and mess-free! I love that they have pre-school versions too.

I have 9 grandkids and love to surprise them with neat crafts, dollar spot finds and garage sale goodies. There's something so magical & mysterious about mosaics. All those tiny blocks come together to build such beauty.
